Bolojan: Support for Ukraine must continue

Interim President Ilie Bolojan says that Ukraine's security is essential both for Romania and for the entire European continent.

In a video address to the summit in Kiev, he said that support for Ukraine must be continued in the next stages of the peace and reconstruction process.

Ilie Bolojan: It is in the interest of all of us to share the objective, which is also that of the United States of America, to put an end to this war that has gone on for too long and has destroyed too many lives. At the same time, Ukraine and the European Union must be involved in the peace negotiations. Romania is ready to coordinate with all its European, American and allied partners to help find a just and lasting peace as quickly as possible.
