Bogdan Aurescu was appointed presidential advisor

Former Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu was appointed presidential adviser, by decree signed by President Klaus Iohannis.
Luminita Odobescu, who now holds the foreign affairs portfolio in the government led by Marcel Ciolacu, was released from the same position.
Diplomat Bogdan Aurescu was also a presidential adviser between 2016 and 2019, within the Department of Foreign Policy.
Luminita Odobescu is a career diplomat, and between 2015 and 2021 she was the permanent representative of Romania to the European Union.
