International Exhibition “Black Sea Defense and Aerospace 2018” (BSDA) officially opens today at Bucharest’s Romaero Complex.

Romanian Ministry of National Defense participates with military and technical support at the International Exhibition of Aerospace, Defense, Homeland Security, Cyber Security and Safety&Security, “Black Sea Defense and Aerospace 2018” (BSDA). Official opening takes place today at Bucharest’s Romaero Exhibition Complex.
Land Forces will feature infantry equipment and weapons such as automatic and semi-automatic rifles, companion guns and antitank grenade launchers, helmets and protective vests.
Militaries will display specific costumes, metal detectors, explosive materials and robots used in all kinds of interventions.
Visitors will also be able to see Piranha armored personnel carriers, TR 85 tanks, missile, terrestrial and anti-aircraft artillery equipment, and vehicles in service for the Military Police Battalion.
Aircraft in service for the Romanian Air Force - F-16 Fighting Falcon, MIG 21 Lancer, C 27 J Spartan, IAK 52 and IAR 330 Puma Naval - will perform demonstration flights, and some will be displayed on the ground, to be admired.
Troops will exhibit materials and diving equipment used for various underwater drills, and will present an offer of professional training programs.
Military officers from the Defense Intelligence General Directorate will perform a counter-terrorism demonstration exercise.
For the first time since its takeover by the Ministry of National Defense, the “Cantacuzino” National Research Institute will be present at the exhibition.
Young people who wish to enroll in a military career will be able to get information about the military profession at the Career stands.
BSDA 2018 will be attended by more than 270 exhibitors from 25 countries from America, Europe and Asia. Military delegates from Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Egypt, Lebanon, Lithuania, Pakistan, Portugal and Vietnam will be present at this edition.
