Bikes parade at Arad
Over 200 of ladies participated to a bikes parade organized in the center of Arad. The feminine participants were dressed in summer dresses, hats, and the bikes were decorated with many flowers and balloons.

SkirtBike is an event dedicated especially to women and wants the promotion of bikes as way of life, and the feminine representatives must be dressed in more colored dresses and skirts for this event.
Therefore, on Monday, over 200 ladies participated to a bikes parade organized in the center of Arad.
The participants to promenade on bikes were dressed in summer dresses, hats for this event and the bikes were decorated with many flowers and balloons.
The ladies’ point of meeting was “Avram Iancu” square.
After they photographed together with their bikes, the feminine representatives set out on their bikes through the center of Arad.
In front of the column of bicyclists, there were the participants’ children, with bikes decorated with flowers and balloons.
The column was closed by the bicyclists’ husbands or friends, who wanted to join their partners to the organized parade.
It is the first kind of such an event organized in Arad, dedicated entirely to women and has as main point the opportunity of showing the femininity on two wheels.
Also, through this action is wanted the promotion of the bike as a way of life, in the daily transport and the understanding that the walking on bike does not restrict in any way the activity, the ladies can dress any kind of clothes, without loosing their femininity.
After the promenade on two wheels, all the participants were invited on a terrace in town, to a cake.
In the end, they were given prizes for: the highest heel piece, the most original basket, the most beautiful smile, on which they added unexpected presents to the raffle.
The event from Arad was organized by the “Bike for All” Association, in co-operation with “Steps towards boundaries” Association.
