The 8th Annual Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum will take place next week in Bucharest.
The event is organised by the New Strategy Center, a Romanian think-tank, with the support of the Ministries of National Defence and Foreign Affairs and the NATO Public Diplomacy Division.
This year's conference will focus on the situation in Ukraine, where the scale and intensity of Russian military attacks threaten Ukraine's existence as a sovereign state and the maintenance of European security as a whole.
According to New Strategy Center experts, the Black Sea remains a vulnerable point on NATO's eastern flank and continued support for Ukraine is of paramount importance.
Political leaders, security experts and representatives of civil society and non-governmental organisations will try to identify ways and means to help Ukraine cope with the Russian invasion at this year's Annual Black Sea and Balkan Security Forum.
