An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 occurred, shortly after midnight, in Buzau County, in the Vrancea seismic zone.
The earthquake, considered of medium intensity, occurred at a depth of 130 kilometers, according to data published by the National Research Institute for Earth Physics.
The earthquake was felt in dozens of localities, including: Bucharest, Constanta, Buzau or Galati. The institute received almost 2.000 messages from residents, who reported that they felt the tectonic movement.
