Romania has taken very important steps, during the 10 years since joining the European Union, in the field of justice and the fight against corruption, says British Ambassador to Bucharest, Paul Brummell.
Having been present in Cluj on Tuesday, where journalists asked Ambassador Brummell about recent events in the justice field in Romania, the British diplomat said he hoped that the results of the fight against corruption would remain positive.
"Our position stays the same.
We believe that Romania has taken very important and very positive steps in these 10 years of EU participation in reference to the field of justice and the fight against corruption and this is thanks to very good organizations like the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA).
And we find that the fight is, of course, continued.
I wish you success, you have good people and I hope the results will be positive", Ambassador of the United Kingdom said, according to Agerpres.
