Child allowance is increased to 85 percent from October the 1st this year, decided the Chamber of Deputies.

Chamber of Deputies adopted the draft Tuesday to approve an ordinance providing the increase the child-raising allowance from 75 percent to 85 percent from the net income starting October the 1st 2012.

The draft also provides renouncing the conditioning of parental leave and child-raising allowance only for the first three children in the family.

Labour Minister, Mariana Campeanu, shown that through amendments brought by deputies to the draft was intended "to establish the allowance for childcare which will be to maintain the minimum and maximum limit respectively 1,200 and 3,400 lei, and with the right to grant insertion incentive for people who have chosen to leave until they are two years of the child ".

However, the draft provides flexible payment opportunities for welfare recipients who have to pay local taxes, involving to make flexible the period within are required to pay these taxes.

All parliamentary groups expressed their agreement to these provisions of the draft, saying they will vote "for" at the final voting session.
