Ministers of the General Affairs Council of the European Union are preparing agenda for the European Council on Economic Affairs, scheduled for 21 and 22 March.
According to Radio România Actualităţi (RRA) Reporter, Carmen Gavrilă, today's meeting in Brussels, chaired by Romanian Minister-Delegate for European Affairs, George Ciamba, has the future Multiannual Financial Framework on the agenda, also situation in Poland and Hungary.
George Ciamba: We have an issue on the agenda that the Romanian Presidency of the EU Council is very fond of, namely disinformation and how we can protect the European Elections from any external influences.
For the first time, we will have Council conclusions on ensuring free and fair European Elections.
It is a comprehensive approach that includes issues related to cyber-security and fight against disinformation.
