Activities completely stopped during the fourth wave will be resumed

Articol de Radiojurnal, 20 Noiembrie 2021, 02:07

The National Committee for Emergency Situations decided yesterday to allow the resumption of activities totally banned during the growing period of wave 4 of coronavirus infections. Thus, sporting events, concerts, outdoor shows and festivals, conferences or courses will be able to take place if all participants have been vaccinated against COVID with a complete scheme for at least 10 days before the activity or have gone through the disease in the last six months.

Another condition refers to the limitation to 30% of the capacity in available spaces. It is also necessary to ensure the distance between the participants and the observance of the other individual protection measures. Alsom, the winter holidays could take place without too many restrictions if the health situation continues to improve, says the head of the Department for Emergency Situations, Dr. Raed Arafat. However, he points out that there are no certainties in this regard yet.

Raed Arafat: It all depends on how we evolve. If it continues to decline, if we remain stable, yes, minimum public health measures will have to be implemented. I can't tell you at this time what activities will be restricted or not, but it is very early, I think that will have to analyze the situation on December 10-15, to see where we stand exactly. Our hope is that people, in compliance with public health measures, will spend their holiday as close to normal as possible. The message that was given to the whole sector, that being either the emergency sector or the hospital sector, was to not relax thinking that everything is ok.
