Director: Laurentiu Vaduva - Ordinary internet users do not know how to react when they are the victim of a cyber attack and this is because there are no public information campaigns on this subject, says the state secretary in the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitization Tudor Prisecaru. He said at a conference that security services against internet aggression should also be accessible to ordinary people.
Tudor Prisecaru: For the time being, we have security for big companies, for public entities, for the state, but we have not heard of a security measure from which we can benefit from daily, in our homes, for example, to have the opportunity to buy a guard for our personal internet terminals. That guard can install various levels of security on my terminal, has specialized people and detects exploits and analyzes the software I have, because not everyone can buy a Windows, for example. We should have training campaigns for all internet users and all this at an affordable price, or for free.
Host: Tudor Prisecaru points out that these issues are important, especially because many employees continue to work from home, on their own devices, sometimes unsecured, representing vulnerabilities, including for companies.
