A plane departing from Poland to Egypt made an emergency landing at Timisoara airport

A plane on a flight from Poland to Egypt made an emergency landing at Timisoara International Airport last night after a bomb threat which turned out to be false. The plane with 124 passengers on board received the bomb threat while on Serbian territory. The aircraft was immediately diverted to Timisoara Airport.
The red intervention plan was activated and police and fire brigades arrived on the scene. After an hour of checks it was found that it was a false alarm. Passengers were taken from the airport to a hotel, where they stayed overnight, and then boarded another plane to reach their destination, Radio Romania News correspondent Alina Bujanca reported.
