A new tranche of anti-COVID vaccine arrived in the country yesterday, at the airports in Otopeni, Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara.
Almost 96.000 doses from Pfizer-BioNTech were delivered.
The vaccines are transported in optimal safety conditions, in special containers with carbonic ice and sealed foil, and will be distributed to the regional centers.
According to a statement, as the new tranches arrive in the country, the vaccination scheduling application is updated with new places available for the population included in the current stage.
Pfizer has announced a return to the original delivery schedule to the European Union and will increase the number of doses around February 15.
At 14:30, at Victoria Palace, a press conference scheduled by the coordinator of the national vaccination campaign, Valeriu Gheorghita, and other health officials took place.
