950 polling stations will be open abroad for this year's presidential and parliamentary elections, announces the Permanent Electoral Authority. There will be 35 more polling stations than for June's European parliamentary elections. The authority recalls that in presidential elections, voting abroad takes place over three days for each round and two days for parliamentary elections.

At the same time, the AEP also points out that in presidential elections, all Romanian citizens with the right to vote abroad may do so at polling stations, on the basis of a valid identity document, while in parliamentary elections only those who have their domicile or residence abroad may vote.
