92% of COVID-associated deaths occurred in unvaccinated individuals

92% of COVID-associated deaths in the last week and nearly three-quarters of new cases occurred in unvaccinated people against SARS-CoV-2, the National Institute of Public Health reported.
Over a third of the total cases of COVID-19 registered in the week of September 20-26 were in Bucharest and in the counties of Timis, Cluj, Ilfov and Iasi.
A report shows that almost 86% of deaths occurred in people over 60, with the vast majority having at least one associated comorbidity.
