60,000 foreigners with right of residence in Romania
Immigrants are entitled to a package of services which includes Romanian language courses, cultural orientation and counseling.

In Romania there are 60,000 foreigners with right of residence, the Inspectorate General for Immigration has announced today.
Most of them, over 20,000, live in Bucharest, followed by Ilfov County with 5,000.
Last year, over two thousand foreigners submitted applications for asylum in Romania.
An increasing number of applicants is from Syria.
