"No convicts in public offices" campaign in Romania has gathered so far 450,000 signatures and will continue in the following two weeks with a caravan passing through 12 counties, in order to reach the target of 500,000 signatures, announced Dan Barna, Chairman of Save Romania Union (USR).
"No convicts in public offices" has become a real social phenomenon, slogan is displayed and shouted in concert halls, it is shouted in the stadiums, I even saw it at the Tour de France. The entire Romanian society took over this message. It is a message that decent Romania sends to the current political class, a message against incompetence, a message against the attempt to legalize theft of public money, a message against the attempt to subordinate justice. It is a message against a government that shows almost every day that it is incompetent and embarrasses Romania", said USR leader Dan Barna.
