40 day memorial service for King Michael on January 13
Romanian Royal Family announces that on Saturday, January 13, at 12.00 hours, at the Old Episcopal and Royal Cathedral at the Curtea de Argeș Monastery, will take place the 40-day memorial service since King Michael passed away.

Romanian Royal Family announces that on Saturday, January 13, at 12.00 hours, at the Old Episcopal and Royal Cathedral at the Curtea de Argeș Monastery, will take place the 40-day memorial service since King Michael passed away.
The service will be officiated by Archbishop Calinic of Argeș and Muscel and will take place in the Old Episcopal and Royal Cathedral at Curtea de Argeș Monastery.
Subsequently, a prayer will be given at the tomb of King Michael, at the New Archdiocesan and Royal Cathedral.
The Archbishop will be accompanied by a group of priests from the Curtea de Argeș Monastery and the Eparchy.
A group of nuns from Pasărea Monastery and from Tigăneşti Monastery will also attend the service.
All those who want to take part in this event are welcomed, but only the Royal Family will have access to the memorial service at the burial place.
King Michael died on December 5, 2017, at his residence in Switzerland, at the age of 96. He was buried in the New Royal Cathedral in Curtea de Argeș on December 16, 2017.
