4.2 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale in Vrancea

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale took place tow nights ago in the Vrancea seismic zone, in Buzau county.
According to the National Research-Development Institute for Earth Physics, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 126 km, and the intensity in the epicentral area was 2 degrees Mercalli.
Since the beginning of February, 27 earthquakes with magnitudes between 2 and 4.2 on the Richter scale have occurred in Romania.
Last year, the strongest earthquake occurred on January 31 in Vrancea County and had a magnitude of 5.2.
The earthquake was also felt in Bucharest.
