30th “Carpathian Eagles” Protection Force Battalion: Afghanistan mission

30th „Carpathian Eagles” Protection Force Battalion is preparing to leave for a new mission in Afghanistan, RRA correspondent Cristian Matei transmits from the Câmpulung Muscel (Argeș County) departure ceremony.

Romanian Minister of National Defense, Mihai Fifor, has participated, today, in Câmpulung Muscel (Argeș County) , at the ceremony on the departure to the theater of operations in Afghanistan of the 30th „Carpathian Eagles” Protection Force Battalion, and addressed the soldiers:

Mihai Fifor: „I am happy and proud that I am here today with you, at a time when you are preparing to go to a new mission in Afghanistan. It is an important moment for any Romanian soldier, when all that you have learned, all your training will be applied in real combat conditions. You have all my appreciation for your courage and all the support for the success of the missions in the safest and the best possible conditions”.
