Defense Minister Mihai Fifor attends on Tuesday the ceremonies dedicated to the National Flag Day, that take place in front of the Palace of the National Military Circle in Bucharest.
Similar festivities are scheduled for Constanţa, Tulcea, Babadag and Brăila.

President Klaus Iohannis has sent a message on this occasion: "The Flag is one of the most powerful national symbols. The flag was consecrated by the 1848 Revolution and united the Romanians at all major moments. For the modern Romanian state, connected to the European and Euro-Atlantic values, The Tricolor has equally strong valences at present too". To mark the National Flag Day, Presidential Administration illuminates the Cotroceni Palace in blue, yellow, red - the colors of the Romanian Flag.
Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă has also sent a message: "Romanian National Tricolor Flag has represented Romanians at all important moments of history. The National Flag unites us and represents our pride, together with the other national symbols: Coat of Arms and Anthem”, said Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă.
National Flag Day was marked today in the City of Câmpina (Prahova) by a parade on the main boulevard, where a huge tricolor flag, with a length of 100 meters, was carried by one hundred students, according to RRA Correspondent in Prahova, Simona Uță.
In Câmpina, events on the occasion of the National Flag Day began with the official flag-raising ceremony, followed by an artistic program and the launching of a hundred balloons in the colors of the tricolor.
Maximum attraction was on the main boulevard of the city, where approximately a hundred pupils from the local educational institutions carried a tricolor flag with a length of one hundred meters and a width of four meters, on a distance of nearly two kilometers.
