198 new cases of people infected with COVID-19 have been registered in Romania, thus reaching a total of 17.585, the Strategic Communication Group announced on Thursday.
Out of the people confirmed positive, 10.581 were declared cured and discharged.
203 patients are currently hospitalized in ICUs (Intensive Care Units).
So far, 1.151 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have died.
