17 Romanian citizens quarantined on a cruise ship off Japan’s Coast
Of the 17 Romanians, two are tourists, and 15 are crew members of the ship.

17 Romanian citizens are aboard a cruise ship that is quarantined in the Japanese port of Yokohama, after several cases of coronavirus infection were detected on board, Romanian Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday.
Of the 17 Romanians, two are tourists, and 15 are crew members of the ship.
Romanian Embassy in Tokyo and Romanian Consulate General in Hong Kong are continuing their efforts with local authorities to obtain additional information and are prepared to provide assistance if the situation so requires.
On Tuesday, Japanese authorities started investigations on cases of contamination on the „Diamond Princess” ship, which arrived near Tokyo's southwestern Yokohama port on Monday evening, when a coronavirus case was detected in Hong Kong on a person who was previously on board.
According to Japanese press, number of contamination cases on board reached 20 on Thursday. Ship has around 3,700 passengers and crew members.
