Negative record in the number of deaths due to COVID-19, in the last 24 hours in Romania.
1.378 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 have been registered today, following the tests performed at national level, the Strategic Communication Group informed.
The death toll was 50, a record number for daily reporting.
Most newly confirmed cases of coronavirus are in Bucharest, Prahova and Arges.
In the health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is over 7.800.
Out of these, 446 are hospitalized in Intensive Care Units.
In the last 24 hours, the least cases of infection with the new coronavirus were registered in Giurgiu, Ialomita and Harghita counties.
