"Music is my life and my life is music. (…) Music is not in the notes, but in the silence between.” – are just some of the thoughts expressed by MOZART about his art.
Wednesday, April 26, 2023 (19:00), the RADIO CHAMBER ORCHESTRA concert will be dedicated exclusively to the brilliant Amadeus, who in only 35 years of life "breathed" music, leaving behind more than 800 creations (symphonies, concertos, operas, etc.), composed from the age of 5!
The event will take place under the baton of one of the most acclaimed Romanian conductors - CRISTIAN MANDEAL - who in over 50 years of activity has conducted an extremely vast repertoire, both in the country and as a guest abroad. The concert is also an opportunity to see ALEXANDRU TOMESCU and the heritage violin Stradivarius Elder-Voicu again on the stage of the Radio Hall, which he will perform this time in Concert no. 2 in D major for violin and orchestra. At the end of 2022, Alexandru Tomescu celebrated 20 years since he was a soloist of the Radio Romania Orchestras and Choirs.
The program of the evening brings together the following scores: Piano Concerto no. 2 in B-flat, Divertimento no. 7 in D major and Symphony no. 23.
