100,000 visitors in capital at the "Night of Museums"
According to the first results, in the capital city, the ‘Grigore Antipa’ Museum was the most visited, with almost 22,000 of visitors.

About 100,000 people visited the principal museums and cultural institutions involved in the program the ‘Night of Museums’ and the Museum Antipa was the most wanted by many people, its exhibitions being admired at about 21,600 people, according to an interim estimate of the event.
According to the first results, the “Night of Museums” Night 2112 had a surprisingly great success taking into account weather conditions which seemed to disarm both museums and potential visitors have told Mediafax the representatives Network of National Museums in Romania (RNMR), which coordinated the deployment of the program the “Night of Museums”.
In this respect , the Bellu Museum attracted 10,000 visitors , and National Village Museum "Dimitrie Gusti" 2,400.
In Bucharest, the audience curious to discover the National Museum of Natural History "Grigore Antipa" waited full of understanding to be able to enter the Museum.
Although the entry hour of the last visitor had to be 24.00, the program was extended to allow access to all patient visitors.

Museums that have joined the night of museums since the first edition of the event in Romania had also a great success: the National Museum of Aviation (8,406 visitors), the National Museum of Art of Romania (13,150 visitors), the National Museum of Romanian History (13,000 visitors), National Museum of Geology (about 5,000 visitors), the National Museum, "George Enescu" (10,078 visitors-including "George Enescu Memorial House" at Sinaia) National Museum of the Romanian Peasant (about 5,000 visitors).
On the other hand, the National Museum of Firefighter-Foişorul de Foc, who participated this year for the first time at the “Night of Museums”, drew more than 3,000 people.
The National Technical Museum "Prof. Ing. Dimitrie Leonida ", whose passionate technical visitors have felt the lack of the last year edition , has attracted 3,278 people with the programme " Science takes crazy at midnight ". Also, Old Art Western Museum Dumitru Furnică- Minovici drew about 1,000 people.

And cultural organisations that joined the event had a large number of visitors.
University "Spiru Haret" was visited for the first time, by about 650 people, the Cultural Center Art Society attracted 600 visitors, and the Biblioteca Centrală Universitară “Carol I” -1,500 visitors.
Museums and organisations that have presented so far to the National Network of Museums in Romania the number of visitors at the “Night of Museums”, representing half of the organizations participating in the fourth circuit for Bucharesters, sums up about 100,000 visitors.
Taking into account these partial results, the National Network of Museums in Romania estimated that the total number of beneficiaries of the event in Bucharest will exceed a record 150,000 entries registered at the Night of Museums in 2011.
Night of Museums took place Saturdays, every year on or around 18 May-International Museums Day.
